Calli is above all sweet-tempered and totally attuned to me, as her companion. This is a trait of the Coton. They will study you and make every attempt to please you and to fit into your lifestyle. This does not mean that they will fawn on you, but they definitely want your positive attention, and to be with you. If you prefer an aloof dog, or a frenetic dog, this is not the dog for you. Calli quite literally remembers everything she does that makes me laugh out loud, and she then adds it to her repetoire. She always remembers where her toys are, and if it looks as though I'm going to spend time in the computer room, Calli goes to get her favorite toy and joins me for the duration.
